Brunetti’s off Lygon St in Carlton is an institution. On one side of the cafe is an extensive array of cakes and hand made chocolates. The other side a buzzing area for the very busy baristas and at the far corner, a gelateria. It does feel like you are transported to somewhere more exotic than inner city Melbourne. It’s vast space is constantly filled with chatter from elderly men discussing world affairs to young men discussing… well whatever young men discusses. Simply, it is a melting pot of people who appreciate good food and even better coffee.
